DALLAS –The national boutique law firm of Seltzer │Chadwick │Soefje, PLLC announces the addition of 14-year veteran construction, corporate, and litigation attorney Dawn M. Grams Horak as Of Counsel in its Dallas-Plano office.
Ms. Horak becomes the fourth attorney to join the firm since it was founded in April 2015. Seltzer │Chadwick │Soefje, PLLC opened a Houston office in June 2016 and currently is exploring opening its third office soon. The firm remains committed to expanding throughout Texas and the Southwest region.
Ms. Horak represents Texans and Texas businesses in a range of transactional and litigation matters, including breach of contract, collection of accounts, construction contracts, construction defects, corporate filings, corporate record keeping, real estate and commercial litigation.
A native of East Texas, Ms. Horak represents clients throughout the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex and throughout Texas in counties such as Bexar, Bowie, Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grayson, Harris, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Rockwall, Smith, Tarrant, Travis, and Wise.

RICHARD C. SELTZER
Mr. Seltzer has been in private practice for more than 30 years, representing both established and startup businesses in acquisitions and mergers, financial and tax issues, contractual matters, shareholder disputes, real estate acquisitions and general business litigation in Texas state courts. He is among only a few Texas attorneys with an LL.M. in Taxation, receiving his advanced law degree in 1982 from the University of Florida. He is also an approved mediator in the State of Texas having received his certification in 2008
His practice includes arranging viable capital infusions for ongoing businesses, negotiating business and real estate related contracts. He has handled the licensing of proprietary information for a non-profit organization in Texas. He also continues to successfully represent numerous taxpayer entities and individuals before the Internal Revenue Service, including both its Appellate and Collection Divisions, as well as representing taxpayers for matters filed with the U.S. Tax Court.
ROBERT G. CHADWICK, JR.
Mr. Chadwick has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Texas Lawyer seven times (2003, 2011-16). Mr. Chadwick’s ERISA and labor and employment practice also is national in scope, having appeared in judicial and administrative forums in more than a dozen states. He is licensed in Texas and Georgia. His defense experience includes individual claims as well as collective and class actions.
Mr. Chadwick currently serves as a member of the Professional Liability Editorial Board of the Journal of American Law. He was a chapter monitor for the Cumulative Supplement to Employment Discrimination Law, 4th Edition, which is an acclaimed two-volume treatise authored by the American Bar Association and published by the Bureau of National Affairs. He is currently a co-chair of the Chapter Development Committee of the Professional Liability Underwriters Society.
TIMOTHY B. SOEFJE
Mr. Soefje maintains a statewide practice focused on the litigation of mostly complex, significant-exposure claims and class actions brought against architects, engineers, design professionals, lawyers, real estate professionals, medical professionals, and insurance agents and brokers. He also represents corporate plaintiffs and defendants in complex construction and business litigation as well as matters involving catastrophic personal injury. He is licensed in Texas.
Mr. Soefje also serves as a legal consultant to OmniSure Consulting Group, LLC, a national leader in risk management and loss control services in both the architects, engineers, and design professionals, and medical negligence space. A former public relations professional and daily newspaper editor, Mr. Soefje possesses realworld experience to assist clients in crisis and disaster management.
